Ben&Jack Studio x London Mavericks: We are live (with more netball content)

Working with London Mavericks was something we have been very excited about and we are finally underway and the netball content has come thick and fast. The first big shoot was a kit launch with Nike/KitQueen which was absolutely brilliantly organised by Mellissa at Waffle Limited. Us boys need to be kept in check sometimes and if there was ever someone to take on that job, it's Melissa. She, along with Mavericks team, executed this perfectly. We can't wait to work with her again.
We filmed with Wembley stadium as the back drop and had an absolute blast with the players, of course, Steve was there with the Mavs taxi!!!!!
Next up was our first game day. Anyone who knows anything about us will know that we absolutely love a netball day out. Mavs did not disappoint. Kira Rothwell scored a two point goal in an incredibly exciting finale of the match, in the last few seconds! Ben would have absolutely lost it if he was there, but sadly he wasn't because his eye had exploded, but this isn't about him, but here is a picture of exploded eye anyway. He would want you to see this
Ben would get his fill of Mavericks tantalising netball performances. As we made the trip down to Brighton for their game against Birmingham Panthers.
On one of the year's nicest and sunniest days, a paddle in the sea was the last thing on our minds. The Brighton Centre was the home of the Mavericks game against Birmingham Panthers and what a game it was. It was back and forth (obvs, it's netball) and Birmingham actually led for most of the game, but Mavs stayed in touch and then the unthinkable happened

After Kira's last second winner, against Leeds Rhinos, Emily Andrew
did the exact same thing again against Birmingham Panthers, the place went nuts, Ben was happy.
Having spent time working on the new netball kit, we wanted to do it justice. Ben created a look for the photographs which shows that beautiful green kit in all it's glory, maintains realistic skin tones and stays in line with London Mavericks look, which is what we would describe as.... Very cool. We created a LUT (posh word for a filter) which we could use to copy across the look from photos to video to keep the 'very cool' look consistent
Working with Mavs has been everything we had hoped for. An incredible bunch of athletes who are great fun and the coaches and staff are all amazing too. We hope we have done the content justice :)
