Ben has been creating since his early teens—grabbing hold of cameras, instruments, and stories without much concern for rules or outcomes. Photography, film, and music have always bled into one another in his work: long hours spent observing landscapes feeding a restless documentary eye, the immediacy of street photography shaping his filmmaking instincts, and music giving voice to the personal and cultural weight he’s carried. His practice moves between quiet, introspective studies of place and more confrontational explorations of experience, identity, and survival. Across mediums, Ben’s work is driven less by perfection than by honesty—using creativity as a way to process, question, and transform lived experience into something raw, human, and, hopefully, useful to someone else.
